Welcome to Deja U – a recently resurrected (appropos) blog originally centered around serendipities and synchronicities, which has morphed into more of a treatise on the recoronation of Jesus as King of the Jews. I know, it seems like a large leap. However, the serendipity and synchronicity phenomenon was so blindingly and deafeningly strong that I could not really safely investigate it. So, one thing lead to another as they often do, and now I’m faced with an equally blinding and deafening realization that we really need to get busy and reintegrate our theology – as a species, I mean – all of our theology – so that the “echo chamber of the universe” can be put to its proper use.
I kept the title because if my basic premise is right – that time does have a structure and there is a basic recursive mechanism – then we really need to go and relearn what we have already been taught. If I do my job, nothing I say will be new – but it may serve as a potent reminder, of what we all know. This process will be uncomfortable, not least for me (as a Jew), but fairly straightforward. I’m going to be using my life as the loom, so to speak, that I can weave the threads of this new understanding together on. Since this, if I am right, is Jesus acting within me, I have no idea what the tapestry will ultimately come out looking like. I just know I need to do it. This will only really be a success if I can devote consistent time to it, so I will try to post nearly every day. I also welcome comments but I won’t always be able to respond. A lot of this is just going to be me getting my thoughts straight, as I’m still a bit in shock at the vibrant, thrumming reality of it all. Anyway, here is to a fantastic journey. I look forward to sharing it with you.
This is such a cool ideal! I love it! Would you mind if I wrote about your site and you on my blog? I’d love to know what motivated you to start this!
I’ve been noticing these things for a while now. The amazing thing is some of them are so powerful, like the ones you write about, and some of them are totally mundane or just odd (like engine snorkels). I thought blogs offer a powerful opportunity to see how our synchronicities connect. Your observation was really interesting, I’m so glad your intentions were answered!
Oh yeah feel free to spread the word. The concept started with Carl Jung I believe but I don’t know of anyone intentionally trying to cultivate and collect them. There are some similar theories (like the law of attraction) but I’m more interested in just seeing what’s happening.
